Minji Choi

Minji Choi oversees the operations of Risk Consult Global, ensuring the seamless delivery of risk consulting services to clients worldwide. Minji previously served as the Head of Cloud Security Operations and Strategy at Atos North America. In this role, she led teams responsible for securing the cloud environments of over 15 enterprise clients; spearheaded the migration of CNAPP platforms to Wiz and Orca, thereby enhancing visibility, compliance, and response speeds across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments; established operational procedures for risk remediation and compliance reporting aligned with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and SOC2; advised executive leadership on cloud security posture and managed incident response strategies for high-severity cloud threats; and drove the cross-functional integration of CNAPP insights with DevSecOps pipelines, resulting in a 65% reduction in critical cloud misconfigurations. Minji holds a Ph.D. in Information Security from the University of the Cumberlands, an M.S. in Cybersecurity from Northern Kentucky University, and a B.S. in Cybersecurity from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
